Tweedle Dee

After we've moved overseas, it was a huge adjustment not only to adapt to a totally new environment, but also to be a housewife again. I then decided that there must be some way of using my spare time effectively on the internet by way of blogging. After trying a few blogs and didn't like it much, I discovered Hubpages. I can't really remember how I discovered it, but it appealed to me as quite a popular way of blogging on litterally anything you want to. It is such a nice platform to use.

I grew up in Warmbaths (now Bela Bela), South Africa, known for the healing properties of its natural warm water springs. We have a property in a small village called Umkomaas (where the whales swim) on the south coast of Kwa-zulu Natal. The Aliwal shore there is one of the most popular diving destinations in the world. However, we've relocated to Northern Ireland where we have lived for two years. Thereafter we've lived in Raleigh, N.C for 8 months and we are now settled in the beautiful Midlands of England.

I love travelling and had the privilage to visit places like New York City, New Jersey, Arizona, Disneyland L.A, Hollywood, Raleigh N.C, Paris, Sitges, Barcelona, London, & various parts of Ireland, Namibia (the Namib desert, Windhoek, Grootfontein, Otchivarongo and the spectacular Fish River Canyon).

I enjoy cooking/baking, I also do some sewing, knitting, painting and my big passion and gift, is to play the piano and other musical instruments.

I also enjoy reading autobiographies, memoirs, National Geographic's, the Bible and other Christian literature. I find the Hubber's blogs extremely versatile, there is always something interesting to read and you can do a research on almost anything.
